We are pleased to announce the Wright Legal Group and Georgia Association for Women Lawyers (GAWL) are co-sponsoring the 2024 Law Day 4 Girls in conjunction with Master of My Fate Mentoring Program. This event will be held at the Government Center on June 14th, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Approximately 35 girls from Girls, Inc. and Boys and Girls Club of Columbus/ Phenix City centers throughout the area will converge on the Government Center to have a real-world perspective on the activities of the courthouse. The day will begin with a tour of the building to include some of the following: State and Superior Court Clerk's Office, District Attorney's Office, Solicitor's Office, Sheriff's Office, Magistrate Court, Municipal Court Clerk's Office, Marshall's Office, Probate Court, State Court Judge's Chambers, Superior Court Judge's Chambers, the Mayor's Office, and the Law Library. The girls will have an interactive experience with attorneys, bailiffs, court reporters, clerks, investigators, paralegals, and other legal professionals as they explore different careers in the area of law. Presentations will include a mini mock trial and a panel discussion over lunch on the plaza level.
